Intel announced Optane H20 hybrid solid-state drive, comes with 32GB 3D XPoint memory and 1TB flash memory

Intel announced the launch of two new Optane SSD products, the world’s fastest data center SSD Intel Optane SSD P5800X, and the ability to provide games and content creation High performance and mainstream productivity, the client-oriented Intel Optane H20 hybrid solid-state drive.

According to the latest report, Intel Optane H20 hybrid solid-state drive is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2021. It may be equipped with 670p QLC NAND flash memory and will still support PCIe Gen3.

Intel Optane H20 hybrid solid-state drive will be equipped with 512GB or 1TB QLC NAND flash memory, with 32GB of 3D XPoint memory.

Intel also revealed that it will release the third-generation Intel Optane persistent memory code-named “Crow Pass” for cloud and enterprise users.

Intel said that Optane’s persistent memory is connected to the CPU through a double data rate bus, which can directly load and store access at the speed of DRAM. At the same time, it is also non-volatile and combines the best characteristics of memory and storage.

In addition, Intel will further enhance and expand its unique memory and storage product portfolio with its third-generation Intel Optane persistent memory code-named “Crow Pass” and Intel Xeon Scalable processors code-named Sapphire Rapids.
