Harmony OS 2.0 mobile version can do things that Android can’t do
This week, Harmony OS 2.0 mobile version Beta system was officially launched, and the P40 and Mate 30 series are already available for testing.
Although the demo UI and Android-based EMUI are somewhat detailed, Huawei revealed that the official version will have a new interface in the future. As for the support for Android APP, it is also convenient for the transition. In the future, it will be a special APP embodying Harmony’s philosophy.
A few days ago, some online users released a video detailing the differences between Harmony OS and Android, that is, what Harmony OS can do but Android cannot.
According to Douyin Technology Meiyan, the Harmony OS system can call FA source programs across devices for distributed interaction.
Specifically, take the Jingdong APP that is adapted to Hongmeng as an example, click the transfer button to transfer the current page to other Hongmeng devices, and at the same time call the corresponding FA meta-programs in the device for interaction to realize distributed seamless transfer.
The author emphasizes that the basic Luo Ji of Harmony OS Software is different from Android. A software package of Harmony OS contains a hap package composed of multiple meta-programs and meta-services. When invoking, only the required meta-program or meta-service can be called. This makes it easier to implement distributed interaction among multiple devices.
Manufacturers can also develop meta-services and meta-programs for different devices, and package them into different hap packages according to different devices, and then package the hap packages of adaptation and multiple devices into app packages, and target different devices during the application installation. To install the corresponding hap package to facilitate distributed interaction.
