According to the APP, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. recently added a number of Harmony system-related trademark applications. The trademark names include “HARMONYHILINK”, “HongmengConnect”, “HarmonyConnect”, “HongmengHiLink”, etc. The international classifications all involve scientific instruments. The status of the trademarks is “application for registration”.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei earlier applied for a large number of Harmony, HARMONY, and Harmony trademarks, but most of them are still in the status of “application for registration”.
Currently, the beta recruitment of HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile phone developers has started. Huawei stated that HarmonyOS is a full-scenario distributed operating system for the Internet of Everything era. Huawei hopes to work with partners and developers to create a super device experience for the Internet of Everything era.
The HarmonyOS 2.0 public test equipment supports Huawei P40, P40 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, MatePad Pro devices, and supports OTA upgrades. Support running Android applications.
Huawei has announced that the Harmony system will be open-sourced for memory 128MB-4GB device in April 2021, and will be open-sourced for all devices above 4GB after October 2021. By 2021, Huawei smartphones will be fully upgraded to support Hongmeng OS 2.0.
