Microsoft answered the hacking: Malware was found, there is no proof that the system was utilized to strike on users

On December 18, according to Beijing time, in response to reports that the company was hacked, Microsoft responded on Thursday that a spiteful version of SolarWinds software was found inside the company.

However, the investigation so far shows that there is no evidence that hackers used Microsoft systems to Attack customers.

Reuters reported earlier that people familiar with the matter said that as part of a suspected Russian attack on multiple US government departments, Microsoft was also invaded by hackers using the widely used SolarWinds network management software.

Then, Microsoft’s own outcomes were used by cyberpunk to further attack others. It is not clear how many Microsoft users have been affected.
