Recently China Mobile announced its operating data for November 2020. The number of users decreased by 26.34 million that month, and the total number of users was 943.7 million. It is worth noting that the number of 5G package users increased by 18.59 million this month, bringing the total to 147 million.
According to the above table, the number of China Mobile’s 4G packages has slightly reduced, and the total number is presently 770 million. Since the beginning of this year, China Mobile’s total number of customers has decreased by 6.57 million.
In terms of wired broadband business, China Mobile had a total of 209 million customers in November this year, and it has maintained a steady growth this year. The cumulative net addition of customers this year reached 22.172 million.
Wang Hengjiang, deputy general manager of China Mobile Terminal Co., Ltd., stated last month that its sales of 5G terminals have reached 85 million, and it is expected to reach 100 million by the end of 2020.
On December 13th, at a symposium on the 40th anniversary of the founding of the China Productivity Society, Dong Xin, according to the general manager of China Mobile, more than 390,000 5G base stations have been opened, providing 5G services to all prefecture-level cities and some key counties in the country, and 5G terminals are on the network.
