Cyberpunk 2077 new update is out, brings number of bug fixes and performance improvements

Cyberpunk 2077″ today released an update patch of version 1.05, which fixes a large number of bugs and improves stability, reducing the possibility of game crashes. This version update is now available on Xbox and Playstation platforms and said it will update for PC users as soon as possible.

Task

  • Fixed the problem that Jack would disappear when “Getting Goods” and “Stealing Goods”.
  • Fixed an issue where the “I’m Feeling Like Fire” helicopter could not land.
  • Fixed an issue where Takemura would not make a call to V in the “Tiger Mouth Extraction”.
  • Fixed an issue where “Dongying First Class” would trigger the same dialogue twice.
  • Fixed an issue where Drammen would turn upside down at the end of “Don’t Lose Yourself”.
  • Fixed an issue where “Breaking the Storm” Sol could not reach the truck correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where “Declare War” using fast movement before encountering Tiger Claws would make the mission impossible to continue.
  • Fixed the problem that the automatic save of the “Dead City” read when the chaos will reach the mission will not continue.
  • Fixed an issue where new calls and text messages would no longer be received after a failed battle “when you stared into the abyss”.

  • Fixed an issue where “Stealing Goods” did not appear or could not interact outside the Afterlife Bar.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the target to get stuck when talking to Victor.
  • Fixed an issue where “Intelligence” could not talk to the guard in front of the bar.
  • Added the introduction of “Don’t Lose Yourself” in the journey.
  • Fixed an issue where “War Pig” reading a save while calling Frank would cause the player to be unable to save, move quickly, and interact with other NPCs.
  • Fixed an issue where Phanan would not call for other things before “Flying Bird” was completed.
  • Fixed an issue where Dom Dom would always follow the player after the “Get the Goods” was over.

Gameplay

  • Improved the reaction time of NPC hiding in cover.
  • Fixed the number of shots required to kill civilians at long distances in battle.

Game screen

  • Fixed an issue where Dellaman’s contact avatar would always appear on top of other callers’ avatars during a call.
  • After entering the airtight cabin in “Dream Sleeping in Nine Heavens”, V’s mouth was no longer in an open state.
  • Fixed some UI overlap issues.
  • After half a year of montage transition short film, V’s pants finally worked correctly 😉
  • During the “Faith is a Bullet” mission, NPCs will appear in the mission area faster.
  • HDR warm color display is enhanced.
  • Fixed the problem that NPCs would put up a “T shape” in “Suspected Organized Crime: Rejecting Drugs, Start with Me” and “Commission: Popular Products”.
  • Fixed an issue that could be stuck in the third person without a head after Super Dream.
  • Fixed the problem that the silencer icon has no picture in the inventory.

UI (User Interface)

  • Fixed an issue where the weapon crosshair continued to appear on the screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the interface would immediately close when opening the item menu for the first time after leaving the car.
  • Fixed the problem that the button to open the task log in the upper right corner cannot be used normally when using a fast mobile terminal.

Performance and stability

  • Many stability improvements have reduced the possibility of game crashes.

Miscellaneous

  • The explosion outside the screen will now have a corresponding sound effect.

PC version related

  • Optimized the default core/thread usage of 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. The performance of 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors was in line with expectations, so no adjustments were made. After testing with AMD, it was found that the performance improvement was limited to CPUs with 6 cores or less, so I decided to make the above adjustments.
  • Fixed the problem of the original input collection method.
  • The AVX instruction set is no longer used to fix the problem that the processor does not support the AVX instruction set and the game crashes at the end of the prologue.
  • Remove the debugging console to avoid possible crashes or stuck task progress. This does not mean that we do not want to support the mod community. Please continue to pay attention to more relevant information.
  • The brightness of ray tracing reflections is no longer higher than the environment.
  • Fixed an issue where Steam Overlay crashed when the game was closed.
  • Remove the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. This file is not associated with the final version of the game and has no impact (only used for memory usage evaluation during the development phase, and has nothing to do with actual memory allocation).
  • The performance improvement obtained after modifying the file may be due to the restart of the game itself, rather than the modification of the file itself.
  • In addition, on Discord, the issue of Discord expansion crashing when the game is closed has been fixed

Host version related

  • Improved picture clarity when chromatic aberration and film grain are activated.
  • The game settings will not be restored to the default settings after a few games are restarted.
  • Fixed a visual problem that occurred during the transition between the “Stealing Goods” and “My Hearts” missions.
  • Fixed appearance issues of several vehicles.
  • Entering a combat state when the synaptic accelerator is active will no longer cause the player’s health to disappear.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would become unresponsive after logging out of the current file when the notification that the controller link was interrupted appeared.
  • Due to the problem of resetting the previous settings, the data collection confirmation dialog will appear again.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Advanced Animal” skyscraper H8 might fall down the elevator shaft.
