Intel releases AI chips for EVO platform notebooks, which further reducing power utilization

As per the reports of foreign media NoteBookCheck, Intel will launch the “Clover Falls” AI auxiliary chip for EVO-certified notebooks, bringing more security and energy-saving advantages to this series of notebooks.

The official name of the new chip is Intel’s Vision Sensor Controller, and its main purpose is to make PCs smarter and safer through Intel’s artificial intelligence algorithms.

More importantly, this chip is expected to bring lower power consumption to PCs. Intel gave an example when the notebook detects the user, the chip will automatically adjust the display brightness.

According to news, Intel’s new Clover Falls chip may first be integrated into commercial personal computers, and consumer personal computers will also get this feature soon. More details will be announced at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show.
