Samsung Exynos officially announced on Twitter yesterday evening that the new Exynos will be unveiled and will be released on January 12, 2021.
Earlier news has pointed out that Samsung’s upcoming flagship processor is Exynos 2100 SoC, which will be launched by the new Galaxy S21 series flagship.
From the information that has been exposed, Samsung Exynos 2100 is the same as Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. It uses the same 5nm process technology and adopts the “1+3+4” 8-core three-cluster architecture design.
It will be clocked at 2.9GHz super core, 2.8Ghz Composed of large cores and 2.4GHz small cores, the GPU uses Mali-G78 MC14, and the power consumption control will be significantly improved compared to Exynos 990.
Yesterday, Qualcomm officially announced the running scores of the Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform. Geekbench scored 1135 points for single-core and 3794 points for multi-core.
Previously, the Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s GeekBench running score was 1006 points in the single-core test and 3059 points in the multi-core test.

Although the Exynos 2100’s running score is slightly inferior to that of the Snapdragon 888, considering that the Galaxy S21 Ultra is still an engineering machine, the current running score is not true.
It is understood that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series has launched versions with different processors in different regions. In addition to Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 2100 processor, there will also be a version equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 888.
This time, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will have three models: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Among them, the super-large S21 Ultra is expected to be equipped with the S Pen stylus that is only available on the Note series.
