Xiaomi today announced the latest organizational structure upgrade and cadre appointments. Three new first-level Internet departments have been established, namely the Software and Experience Department, the Internet Business Department, and the Business Middle Office Department. The general managers of the departments are Jin Jin Fan, Ma Ji, and Qiu Ruiheng all report to CEO Lei Jun.
Among them, the Software and Experience Department is composed of core experiences business-related parts such as the original Internet Department I, TV Department, Notebook Computer Department, speakers with screens, photo albums, clouds, accounts, and negative one screen.
Jin Fan, the former head of Internet Department I, serves as the general manager, Qiao Zhongliang is the deputy general manager. Xiaomi’s product director and MIUI experience general manager Jin Fan issued a post saying,
“After this reorganization, our population has increased, many old partners have returned, and business control has become stronger. There are more discussions about the development version. We also plan that the company proposes to retake it next year so that the pace will be better.”
Regarding the upcoming MIUI 12.5, Jin Fan emphasized, “Although it is .5, its system research and development is no less than a complete version of previous years, and it is a complete version disguised as DLC.”
MIUI 12.5 or the Xiaomi Mi 11 model that will be released at the end of the month may introduce desktop mode, further improve animations, and protect privacy.
