The first batch of Volvo XC40 pure electric vehicles started to deliver
On December 20, the delivery ceremony of the first batch of XC40 pure electric car owners was held at the Volvo Car Brand Experience Center Shanghai Huanmao Store. Three owners who purchased the XC40 pure electric car through Volvo Car’s official direct sales channel during the blind booking stage successfully received the car.
As Volvo’s first purely electric model, the XC40 is a luxury pure electric vehicle. The pure electric version of XC40 was officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on September 26 and started blind booking.
As of November 19, before the Guangzhou Auto Show went on sale, it had received 2,558 blind booking orders in less than two months. It was announced later that the P8 pure electric four-wheel drive Zhiya sports version will be priced at 357,000 yuan (Approx. 54,500 USD).
Volvo Cars bring five lifetime free services to fans, including lifetime free charging, lifetime free traffic, lifetime free maintenance, lifetime free warranty, and lifetime free road assistance, among which lifetime free charging service has become an important guarantee for worry-free travel.
In order to save the time-consuming and laborious car purchase links in the past, this time Volvo Cars has adopted an innovative official direct sales model. Consumers can complete online car selection and offline trials only through the “Wo World” applet on WeChat.
The four steps of driving, mobile payment, and car delivery services make it easy to complete the entire car purchase process. Next, Volvo Cars will also carry out more XC40 pure electric vehicle deliveries across the country.
