Asustek has released VY series monitors with embedded antibacterial treatment and upgraded Eye Care Plus technology. The models are VY249HE and VY279HE.
ASUS VY249HE and VY279HE monitors are very suitable for work or study at home. It uses a new proprietary long-lasting antibacterial ionic silver treatment technology, which is applied to the borders and hotkeys on the edge of the screen to improve cleanliness and hygiene.
Both the 23.8-inch VY249HE model and the 27-inch VY279HE model have an FHD (1920×1080) IPS panel, a refresh rate of 75Hz, a dynamic image response time (MPRT) of 1ms, and AMD FreeSync technology.
ASUS VY series monitors have also passed ISO 22196:2011 JIS Z 2801 certification, and each model uses TVRheinland-certified blue light filter and non-flicker technology.
VY249HE and VY279HE displays have improved Eye Care Plus technology, which helps reduce the risk of Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), a disease that can cause vision-related problems due to prolonged viewing of the display screen. In addition, ASUS flicker-free technology helps reduce screen flickering, thereby providing a more comfortable viewing experience.
VY249HE will be listed in North America in December 2020, starting at US$109 (about RMB 714). VY279HE will be launched in North America in December 2020.
