Samsung Galaxy S21 series: Expected to launch on January 7

Samsung officially announced today that it will hold the ‘The First Look 2021’ event on January 7, 2021 (Beijing time). According to the teaser, it can be seen that Samsung will showcase at this event A variety of new products related to display technology.

At the same time, there are 4-5 device outlines of different sizes found on the poster. According to speculation, the device in the middle of the poster may be Samsung’s new-generation flagship Galaxy S21, additionally to flat-panel, monitor, TV, and other devices.

However, since the Samsung Exynos 2100 processor furnished with the S21 will not be officially launched on January 12 next year, the Samsung S21 series may be unveiled at ‘The First Look 2021’ only by way of display.

Samsung Galaxy S21 will release versions with different processors in different regions. In addition to Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 2100 processor, there will also be a version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

Formerly, the Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s GeekBench running score was 1006 points for single-core and 3059 points for multi-core.

As a comparison, GeekBench for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform scored 1135 points for single-core and 3794 points for multi-core.

Since the test is a construction machine, the performance is still in the optimization stage. After the mass production machine is launched, the running score will be greatly improved.

Previously, Samsung revealed to the media at India’s largest mobile phone experience store that Samsung will release the Galaxy S21 series on January 14, 2021.
