Apple iPhone 13 to come with a smaller notch

The most dissatisfied with the current iPhone is the shape of the bangs, which has not been adjusted since the iPhone X. Today, the leaker Jon Prosser said in the Front Page Tech regular program that Apple is currently developing several iPhone 13 prototypes at the same time, one of which has smaller bangs.

In fact, before this, the upstream supply chain broke the news that Apple intends to fully enable ToF lenses on the iPhone 13 series next year. This will solve a new problem, that is, the bangs may be reduced or even disappear (if Apple is radical enough if).

The news mentioned that Apple will continue to launch four iPhone 13 models in 2021, all of which will use D-ToF (Direct ToF) technology LiDAR Scanner, and the use of surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) components stable semiconductor foundry.

Industry chain sources pointed out that the 3D sensing device on the iPhone 13 has obvious changes, which will bring a new change, that is, the bangs will be reduced because the volume of the structured light 3D sensing module is correspondingly reduced.

In addition, Apple is currently testing key components such as the screen and bearing of the folding machine, while Samsung will still provide the panel for the screen. There are several suppliers for the bearing, and the Taiwanese factory uses ShinNikko as the main supplier.
