The local Indian brand Lava will launch a mobile phone customized for women in India-Lava Be U. On December 22, according to 91mobiles reports, Lava Be U has been officially released in India. It uses rose pink as the main color, has a crystal-encrusted camera and a flower-like speaker, and costs 6,888 rupees.

In the configuration, Lava Be U uses an eight-core Unisoc SC9863A processor, supplemented by IMG8322 GPU. UNISOC SC9863A can compete with MediaTek Helio P22 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 439. The phone uses a 6-inch IPS LCD panel and is equipped with a 4000mAh battery.

Lava Be U provides 2GB RAM and 32GB storage space and supports memory expansion to 256GB via a micro SD card. Its rear dual camera array consists of a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens, with a front 8-megapixel selfie lens.

Unlike the phones launched by Realme and Xiaomi in India, Lava Be U runs Android Go (based on Android 10) out of the box and lacks AI-driven features such as beauty mode and Bokeh.
