Honor and Microsoft agreement: Windows 10 becomes the official operating system for Honor laptops

Honor announced the signing of a global cooperation agreement with Microsoft. Honor will adopt Microsoft Windows 10 as the official operating system of Honor laptops worldwide.

Honor CEO Mr. Zhao Ming said: “Honor is very pleased to reach global cooperation with Microsoft to bring consumers PC products with outstanding design, powerful performance, and first-class experience through mainstream operating systems and technologies. As the core, we will create a new world of wisdom for everyone with a fully open attitude and global industrial chain partners.”

Mr. Huang Yiqun, General Manager of Microsoft Greater China OEM Division, said: “Windows 10 is a diverse and powerful platform that provides our OEM partners with flexible tools to export ideas to the world.

Microsoft hopes to empower OEMs through the Windows 10 platform. Partners continue to launch innovative products and push the latest technologies to users so that they can create, learn, and communicate whenever and wherever they are.

In addition, in January 2021, the Honor notebook MagicBook Pro equipped with Microsoft Windows 10 and Intel Core i5 processors will be launched in overseas markets after the Chinese market. Honor also stated that Honor’s next-generation MagicBook series products will also be launched in China in January 2021.
