According to TechPowerUp, in response to huge customer demand, Intel has doubled its 14nm and 10nm production capacity in the past few years. Intel products are now gradually turning to 10nm, and there are currently three factories in the world producing 10nm chips at full speed.
Keyvan Esfarjani, Intel’s senior vice president and general manager of manufacturing and operations, said: “In the past three years, our wafer capacity has doubled. This is a major investment. To invests in factory capacity to ensure that we can keep up with the increasing demands of our customers.”
Kaiwan Esfajani said: “The progress of 10nm is very smooth. We have three high-volume production departments that are moving at full speed.”
Intel currently produces 10 nano-products in large quantities in factories in Oregon, Arizona, and Israel.
