Microsoft Editor grammar’s developer added for desktop Word feature

Microsoft Word application for Windows 10 desktop is now smarter because of the new grammar checker called “Microsoft Editor”. This feature has been available on Word on the web for a while, and now members of the Windows Insider project can test this feature in advance.

Microsoft Editor uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to find spelling or grammatical errors when typing in Microsoft products such as Word and Outlook. Now in Word on the desktop, users can open the document to check for related grammatical errors.

Unlike existing typos correctors in Word, Microsoft Editor uses AI to take things to the next level, checking all the elements of your writing, and then showing suggestions to help you deal with formatting, acronyms, inclusiveness, geopolitical references.

In the desktop application, you can also highlight sentences and access “suggestions” curated by Microsoft artificial intelligence. According to the suggestions, you can modify the sentence appropriately or rewrite it completely.

You can also select a word and press Shift+F10 or Alt+Down to enter the suggestion interface. There is even a plagiarism checker to ensure that the citation is included correctly.
