China Unicom mobile phone business hall App has launched an electronic ID card

China Unicom’s smartphone business hall app ushered in the 8.1 updates, adding an electronic ID card to make business processing more efficient.

The Unicom mobile phone business hall App has launched an electronic ID card. Unicom officially stated that the online function certificate of the resident ID card referred to as ‘net card’.

It is a certificate issued by the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security ‘Internet + Trusted Identity Authentication Platform’ (CTID).

Users can download the network certificate in the App. After applying, the certificate number and validity period can be displayed.

You can view the network certificate information, perform network certificate updates, network certificate deletion,s, and other operations.

China Unicom said that the opening and downloading services of the network card need to verify your identity.

For this purpose, you may need to provide your name, ID number, network card authentication code, biometrics, etc., and will also identify you in vivo.

The company will encrypt and transmit such information to the network certificate service provider. If you do not agree to provide the foregoing information, you will not be able to use the network certificate service, but it will not affect your use of other services we provide.
