Hitachi Global Life Solution (GLS), a subsidiary of Hitachi, which is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of home appliances, announced on December 24 that it had agreed to sell all of its shares in the refrigerator parts subsidiary in Thailand to Midea Group, but The transaction amount was not disclosed.
Hitachi Global Life Solutions announced on December 16 that it will sell its overseas home appliance business to Turkish company Arcelik.
Thailand’s Refrigerator Parts Company is its only remaining overseas subsidiary in the home appliance field. Most of the compressors used in Hitachi’s refrigerators sold at home and abroad come from this subsidiary and will change from independent production to external procurement in the future.
