MSI launched Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio non-public graphics card

MSI announced the Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio non-public graphics card in an overseas live video broadcast today and conducted on-site dismantling. According to the information in the live broadcast, the PCB design of this series of 6800 XT and 6900XT graphics cards is different. Although MSI stated that the 6900 XT graphics card PCB design has not yet been finalized, the graphics card design has been completed and it is expected to provide more power supply ports than the 6800XT.

The person in charge of MSI Insider confirmed that this graphics card is expected to be officially launched in February next year, but this will depend on the manufacturing situation of the foundry. MSI employees explained that since February is the Chinese New Year holiday, the graphics cards may be postponed to March.

This graphics card adopts a non-public version design, dual 8 pin power supply interface, 12+4 phase power supply design, and a regular PCBA layout. According to the description, the default frequency of the graphics card will be higher than that of the public graphics card. Because it is a non-public version, MSI has an additional fuse on the PCB to ensure safety in overclocking situations.

The biggest feature of MSI Gaming X Trio series graphics cards is its TRI FROZR 2 cooling system. First of all, the graphics card is equipped with three MSI self-developed TORX FAN 4.0 cooling fans. The blades are connected in pairs to generate unprecedented wind pressure. The fan uses double ball bearings to ensure the service life.

Secondly, this graphics card uses a square heat pipe process to extrude the cross-section of the heat pipe into a square shape. This helps maximize contact with the GPU surface and improve heat dissipation efficiency. At the same time, the graphics card adopts airflow control technology, which can provide a larger heat dissipation area. Wave-curved 2.0 technology can reduce air turbulence and reduce noise.

In addition, the inside of the graphics card backplane also has a thermal pad, and the outside of the backplane is covered with graphene thermally conductive coating to improve heat dissipation. The end of the graphics card has extra reinforced components to prevent the graphics card from bending.

MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio graphics card is equipped with 16GB GDDR6 video memory, equipped with three DP output ports and one HDMI port. The front and side of the graphics card are equipped with RGB lighting. The MSI Dragon Center desktop software can adjust the graphics card voltage and fan speed to facilitate overclocking.
