Today, Xiaomi officially announced that Xiaomi Mi 11 has become BOINC ‘Officially Certified Mobile Computing Terminal’.
As per the report, BOINC is one of the world’s largest distributed computing platforms that can concentrate the idle computing power of users around the world for scientific research projects such as new coronavirus research, gravitational waves, and searching extraterrestrial civilization.
Xiaomi said that this cooperation means: ‘Every Xiaomi Mi 11 user can voluntarily utilize the powerful Snapdragon 888 processor, and together with BOINC, use the power of technology to change the world.’
According to former reports, Xiaomi Mi 11 will use the top screen ever of Xiaomi mobile phones, furnished with Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 888 chip, running Android 11. The new Xiaomi 11 product launch conference will be today.
