The device equipped with AMD’s upcoming R9 5900H processor appeared on Geekbench. Earlier to this, the overclockable R9 5900HX has been leaked.
The new R9 5900H, like the R7 series, has 8 cores and 16 threads, with the main frequency of 3.3GHz, an acceleration frequency of 4.65GHz, and a three-level cache of 16MB.
For comparison, AMD’s previous generation R9 4900H has 8 cores and 16 threads, clocked at 3.3GHz, acceleration frequency 4.4GHz, and 8MB L3 cache.
In terms of running points, the single-core and multi-core running points of the R9 5900H are 1520 points and 9325 points, respectively. The single-core running points are 20%-25% higher than the previous generation R9 4900H.
The AMD CES 2021 keynote speech will be held on January 13th, US Standard Time.
