Twitter online users @Apple Demo shared several photos of Apple Watch prototypes and hands-on videos. As you can see from the picture, this early prototype was covered with a heavy protective cover to prevent the appearance of the device from being leaked before it was released.

This is an extremely rare Apple Watch prototype. It runs the WatchOS 1.0 internal version. The watch can still run normally, and it points out all the functions of the App and improvement settings.
In normal circumstances, several prototype devices in Apple’s testing phase will be destroyed by Apple after the final plan is released, but this watch is obviously a ‘fish that slipped through the net.’
The whistleblower stated that he liked the UI development test screen of this Apple Watch the most. Especially the ‘Springboard zoom’ App (located in Lisa Tester), which shows how the watch’s home screen interacts.
