Huawei is sending new updates for the Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G. It brings new features and enhancements to the devices and the latest security patch for improved system security and device stability.
The latest firmware includes a new fast file transfer feature, dynamic screen effect, fixes the application issues, and November 2020 security patch along with the new EMUI 11 version to improve users experience.
Huawei Nova 6 and 6 5G users can identify this latest update with the EMUI version 11.0.0.165 which is updated from version 11.0.0.145.
There are two different methods for downloading updates on your smartphone:
Download via Settings:
- Go to settings,
- Click on System & updates,
- Then open software updates
- Tap on the check for updates option
- Then download and install the update, if available
- After installation, reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open support app on your device
- Go to the service tab
- Click on the update button
- then tap on Check for update option
- Click on download if the update is available
- After the download, reboot the device for installation
