At the CES exhibition at the beginning of this year, AMD released the Ryzen 4000 series APU processor, which is composed of a 7nm Zen2 CPU and Vega GPU.

At that time, AMD promised to have a retail version of the desktop version of the Ryzen APU, but one year later, the desktop version of the Ryzen 4000 APU was not listed.

This regret will not be filled until the Ryzen 5000 APU is filled, and it will be officially released at the CES exhibition at the beginning of next month.

The main products are still the Ryzen 5000H and Ryzen 5000U for notebooks, including Cezanne (Cezanne) and van Gogh (Van Gogh). Two versions, the former is Zen3+Vega, and the latter is Zen2+RDNA2.

Additionally, to the notebook market, the Ryzen 5000 APU is determined to have a desktop version this time. A new AMD product was leaked in the user benchmark, numbered 100-000000262-30_Y, which is installed in the HP ProDesk 405 G8 Desktop Mini PC.

According to specification, this is a 4-core 8-thread processor with more hyper-threading, so it can be ruled out that the Ryzen 4000 series has a CPU base frequency of 3.5GHz and an average acceleration frequency of 4.1GHz. The overall specifications are not high.

This processor should be an entry-level model in the Cezanne family. The CPU is upgraded to Zen3 architecture, GPU or Vega, 4 cores 8 threads, acceleration frequency 4.1GHz, performance is very suitable for office machines or daily households, the key depends on the price.

This 4-core Cezanne is of course an appetizer, and there should be a higher-end 8-core 16-thread version of the Ryzen 5000 APU in the future.

Judging from the excellent memory overclocking capabilities of the previous Ryzen 4000 APU, the Zen3 version of the Ryzen APU is obviously It is worth looking forward to.

Of course, whether these desktop versions will definitely have retail versions, it’s still hard to say.

According to AMD’s habits, it is estimated that the OEM market will be the priority. The retail version has to wait, but it may be the most anticipated Ryzen 5000 family processor next year.
