Samsung Galaxy A30 receiving December 2020 security update

According to the latest news (Via – Sammy Fans), Samsung is now releasing a new update for the Galaxy A30 users. This firmware installs the latest December 2020 security patch for improved system security and device stability. The update bearing build version A305FDDU6BTL1 does not add any new feature to the smartphone despite the security improvements.

If you haven’t received any update notification on your device yet, then you can also check for the software updates manually. Just go to settings, then search for the software updates option, and then click on Download and Install.

Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphone comes with many budget features such as a big 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display, Exynos SoC, 4000mAh battery, and much more.

The Galaxy A30 is currently running on Android 10 and eligible to get the Android 11 based One UI 3.0. As per the official update roadmap, the budget smartphones of the A and M series will start receiving Android 11 updates from March 2021. For now, the December 2020 security patch is ready to install for the Galaxy A30 users in the US and will expand to other regions as well.
