GALAX recently launched two pure black retro-style RTX 3090/3080 Classic graphics cards on its official website, which belong to the supercomputing series. These two graphics cards are designed for server applications, using a standard double-slot width, using a thermal plate and a turbofan for heat dissipation.
According to official website data, the GALAX RTX 3080 Classic has a core acceleration frequency of 1710MHz, a video memory capacity of 10GB, and a bit width of 320bit; the RTX 3090 Classic has a core acceleration frequency of 1695MHz, a video memory capacity of 24GB, and a video memory bit width of 384bit. Both graphics cards have NVLink interfaces. In terms of power supply, dual 8-pin connectors are used, and the power connector is located at the far right end of the graphics card.
In order to ensure dense installation in the server, the thickness of the graphics card is dual-slot PCIe, and the back is equipped with a metal backplane. According to the picture, the cooling fins of the graphics card are made of copper, which can provide more efficient heat dissipation.
The output interfaces of these two graphics cards are 1×HDMI and 3×DP interfaces. The official website shows that the turbofan does not support automatic stops at low temperatures. It is expected that the GALAX RTX 3090/3080 Classic graphics cards will not be sold in the retail market and will only be provided to industrial customers.
