Google app tries to include short video content in search results
Short videos have become popular in 2020, and Google is also trying to provide such content in search results. Google is testing to provide short video search results from platforms such as TikTok and Instagram in its mobile app so that users can browse these short videos without leaving the Google app.
According to reports, these short video contents mainly come from TikTok, Instagram, Tangi, Trell, YouTube, etc., which are completely different from the short video service “AMP Stories” launched by Google and some online media not long ago.
When users click on these short video links, they will be redirected to the web version of the corresponding platform in the Google application instead of opening the corresponding application.
