Huawei aims to expand HarmonyOS to over 40 million devices and 40 mainstream brands in 2021

According to the latest news (Via – Huawei Central), the Huawei Developer Day and HarmonyOS 2.0 Application Developer Beta Event Shanghai is on schedule. Huawei and its partners will communicate with a large number of developers on the leading development technology and the latest cases of HarmonyOS mobile applications.

Yang Haisong, Vice President of Huawei’s Consumer Business Software Department, said, “Since the release of the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile application developer Beta version two weeks ago, a steady stream of developers has joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem. We look forward to working with more developers and partners for a win-win situation. The next decade of the mobile industry.”

According to Huawei, it is expected that by 2021, more than 40 mainstream brands and 100 million devices will become new entrances for consumers’ full-scene experience.

Huawei released the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile application developer Beta version on December 16. At the same time, the first HarmonyOS Developer Innovation Competition was officially launched. So far, more than 1,800 participating teams have signed up.

The Beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile application developers can help developers complete their development work through the collaboration of distributed application frameworks, distributed UI frameworks, and DevEco Studio. At this event, HarmonyOS developers such as WPS, Bilibili, Ctrip, iFLYTEK, Shenzhentong, etc. shared their content based on HarmonyOS.
