Tesla will offer pure autonomous driving experience for free to the models delivered in last 3 days of 2020

Tesla’s new FSD software is currently in the beta testing stage and is not officially completed. If the users want to experience this feature, they have to pay an additional $10,000.

According to the latest news, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter that users who rush to the car before the end of 2021 will receive a three-month “pure autonomous driving” (FSD) experience for free. Taking into account the official offer for this optional feature, this marketing promotion is still quite attractive.

Although all Tesla models are equipped with some form of Autopilot assisted driving system, only the optional FSD function can fully exert the strength of software and hardware.

There is no doubt that Tesla hopes that FSD can lead the development of the field of self-driving cars, and earlier this year pushed this technology to a small number of early adopters (it will be pushed to more paid users later).

Of course, the current FSD system still has shortcomings in software, which means that the on-board computer is not yet ready for purely autonomous driving and may perform the wrong operation at the wrong time. But if the car owner only uses it as an L2 driver assistance system, it can still work well in most cases.

Finally, if you miss this year-end FSD experience promotion, it’s best to find out if there are current car sales nearby. In addition, at the beginning of this month, we also heard that the company intends to provide buyers with free overcharge benefits again in order to set a new annual delivery record.
