When will the MIUI 12.5 stable version will rollout for Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones?

As per the official MIUI 12.5 page, the public beta version of the update is scheduled to be released in batches. It will start to roll out from late January 2021 and the first batch will be released at the end of April 2021.

In terms of models, the public beta covers 21 models, namely Xiaomi 10 Youth Edition/10/10 Pro/Extreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi K30/K30 5G/K30 Pro/K30i 5G/K30S Extreme Commemorative/K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Xiaomi 9/9 SE, Xiaomi CC9e/CC9 Pro, Redmi K20/K20 Pro, Redmi 10X 5G/10X Pro, Redmi Note 7/Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 9, etc.

The first batch of stable version has only four models, namely Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition.

There are reports that the second batch of the public beta will include the Mi 9 Pro 5G version, the Mi CC9/CC9 Meitu customized version, Redmi Note 9 4G/Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8/Note 8 Pro, etc.

Talking about MIUI 12.5, the main feature is lighter, faster, and more economical. The core scene memory is reduced by 20%, and the dynamic effects are comparable to iOS. Privacy protection is further enhanced, including smart clipboard privacy protection, file sandbox mechanism, etc.

In addition, a note-taking application (replacing memos) was created to support graffiti, thinking notes, excerpts, etc., as well as MIUI+, an efficient application that connects Windows and Android.
