Yongqing launched RB4M2_G4 adapter card in China that can support four PCIe 4.0 SSDs

The ASRock has recently launched adapter card products such as the M.3 port to VGA graphics card. And now we’ll tell you about a new product that is RB4M2_G4, this riser card can convert four M.2 SSD drive positions through PCIe 4.0 x16 slot.

Although the current consumer SSD market is still dominated by PCIe 3.0 x4, for server/workstation customers pursuing high performance, Yongqing RB4M2_G4 can also provide a high-capacity, space-saving solid-state storage expansion solution.

For small server chassis with limited space, the functional design of the double-sided PCB is very pleasing. The overall length is 144.78 mm, the width is 73.65 mm, and it supports M.2 2242/2260/2280/22110 and other specifications of SSD.

In addition to the two on the front, there are two M.2 SSD installation positions on the back. It should be pointed out that the RB4M2_G4 adapter card does not support the B-Key M.2 SSD of the SATA protocol. Potential applications include the server platform installed on AMD Xiaolong 7002 series processors to give full play to storage performance.

Regrettably, although the official website has been launched, Yongqing has not announced the exact price and launch date of the RB4M2_G4 adapter card.
