Ives wrote in the report: “Based on our preliminary analysis of Tesla’s fourth-quarter demand and global delivery trajectory, the company may easily exceed Wall Street and internal expectations.” Ives predicts Tesla’s deliveries this quarter. It will be between 190,000 and 200,000. He previously marked 180,000 vehicles as the “borderline” for achieving delivery goals.
Ives said: “Entering the end of the year and 2021, we will see major changes in global electric vehicle demand. We expect that by 2025, electric vehicles will increase from 3% of total car sales to 10%.
