This bug in Apple AirPods Max will occasionally reduce noise of one of the earphone

Apple recently announced its new over the ear headphones named Airpods Max. It has been quite a long after these new headphones are available in the market. Also, there are many reviews available about these new headphones.

The headphones were doing fine until some users reported a new and a strange bug on these, According to the users, they encountered a strange problem when the headphones switched between active noise reduction and transparent mode.

Pressing the noise control button on the right earmuff allows AirPods Max to switch seamlessly between the two modes, but users report that sometimes only one earmuff will respond to the switching mode, making one earmuff in active noise reduction mode, and the other One is in transparent mode.

This problem seems to be intermittent and we hope Apple can eliminate this bug in future software updates. Before that, if you encounter this problem, you can solve it by resetting AirPods Max.

How to reset AirPods Max:

  • Before resetting AirPods Max, please charge it through the included USB-C to Lightning cable to ensure that they have a certain amount of power.
  • Press and hold the noise control button and digital knob until the status LED at the bottom of the right ear cup flashes amber.

After resetting AirPods Max, the problem should be resolved. If the problem occurs again in the future, just repeat the same steps. If the problem is stubborn, it may be time to contact Apple Support.
