Amazon launched a new Fire TV smart TV product under the AmazonBasics brand in India. The first batch of AmazonBasics FireTV to be marketed all provide 4K UHD picture quality, featuring Dolby Atmos sound quality. There are 50 and 55-inch screen sizes available, and the price is $410. US dollars (about 2659 yuan) and $480 US dollars (about 3113 yuan).
The UHD LED screens of these two TVs can bring a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, are equipped with Fire OS 7, built-in Alexa virtual assistant, support Prime Video, Amazon Music, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube, and other thousands of Android applications.
AmazonBasics FireTV also integrates India’s satellite content format DTH, so users can easily switch between online streaming media and satellite TV channels.
In terms of hardware specifications, AmazonBasics FireTV is equipped with Amlogic 1.95 GHz 4-core CPU, a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, an Amlogic 9th generation graphics engine, supports Bluetooth 5, and also provides multiple interfaces such as USB and HDMI.
In addition to the 50- and 55-inch versions launched this time, Amazon will also launch three smaller versions of 32-inch 720p (HD), 43-inch 1080p (FHD), and 43-inch 4K UHD.
AmazonBasics has launched refrigerators, air conditioners, dishwashers, and other household appliances products. It is only a matter of time before the launch of TV sets, but it is still unknown whether this series will be promoted to the United States and other markets in the future.
