As per the report, the Toyota GR Super Sports production version will be officially launched on January 15 and officially unveiled on March 19.

Unlike most supercars on the market, Toyota’s new car is based on the Le Mans racing TS050. In terms of appearance, the design concept of Le Mans racing is retained, and the design of the whole car is very radical, which greatly meets the requirements of aerodynamics.

Additionally, the car also uses a convertible design and uses a wind impact roof shovel in the roof position. The large diffuser at the rear of the car provides enough downforce for the new car.

As for power, the new car will use a mid-mounted 2.4T twin-turbocharged direct-injection V6 engine, combined with a front axle motor to form a hybrid power system, with all-wheel-drive technology, a curb weight of about 1,030 kg, and Michelin tires.

It is reported that the maximum power of the street version can reach 735kW (1000PS), and the maximum power of the racing version will be reduced to 671PS. It will participate in the 2021 World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In the future, Toyota GR Super Sport will compete with top supercars such as AMG ONE and Aston Martin AM-RB 001, with an estimated price of 13-20 million yuan.
