In October last year, Huawei released its flagship model Mate40 series. According to the former rhythm, the next step should be the update iteration for the Mate Xs folding screen. However, it seems that the update of folding-screen phones will have to wait longer.
As per the report, Huawei’s new generation of folding flagship Mate X2 will be postponed. The release of many of Huawei’s products should be postponed, including the flagship folding screen Huawei Mate X2, which was originally scheduled to be released earlier this month.
According to a previous report, Huawei has successively launched two folding screen mobile phones, Mate X/Xs. According to the normal product iteration rhythm, Huawei Mate X2 should be launched in 2020.
However, according to Ross Young, the founder of DSCC, a screen analysis agency, Huawei Mate X2 will not be listed in 2020 due to the US ban and will be postponed to this year.
Formerly, Huawei had a number of new phones connected to the Internet by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The model TET-AN00/TET-AN10 is stated to correspond to the Huawei Mate X2 series. Unfortunately, the ID photo and main configuration information have not been announced.
However, there are rumors that Mate X2 is expected to be equipped with Kirin 9000 processor and support 66-watt super fast charging. For now, given the supply pressure of Kirin 9000 processors, it may be the main reason for the delay of Mate X2.
It is worth mentioning that, according to previous patent information, some sources have produced a real device rendering of the Mate X2. The biggest change of the device is from the original fold-out to the same internal fold design as the Samsung Fold.
