Apple AirTags accessories leaked: keychain leather case, glasses frame
Apple’s long-rumored AirTag product will be launched in 2021, and now accessory manufacturers have begun to prepare and plan accessories to accommodate airbags.
Informant Evan Blass stated that Nomad, which is known for producing a series of Apple device protective cases and chargers, will launch AirTags key chains and AirTags glasses frames.
Apple generally does not provide details of its product plans to accessory manufacturers before the launch of new devices, so the renderings made by Nomad as part of the 2021 product plan are likely to be based on rumors and do not represent any final accessory design.
The key chain designed by Nomad uses a thin leather shell, which seems to be made for a square AirTag, while the ‘AirTags Spectacle Frame’has a circular design.
The current rumors show that AirTags will adopt a disc-like design, with a white front and a silverback, with Apple’s logo, but the design of airbags has not been confirmed.
The working principle of AirTags will be similar to other item trackers such as Tile. Users can attach them to various esssential accessories such as cameras, wallets, keys, glasses, etc. so that they can be found when these items are lost.
There are rumors that AirTags will have a built-in U1 ultra-wideband chip to obtain accurate indoor positioning information, and can also achieve tracking based on augmented reality.
Since iOS 13, we have seen signs of airbags, and there are rumors that Apple plans to launch it in 2020, but it did not materialize in the end. Earlier this month, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple will release AirTags at some point in 2021, but he did not provide more specific information.
