Acer’s official website has now announced the predator Helios 300 gamebook. As a frequent visitor to Intel products, Gigabyte’s new gaming notebook still uses Intel’s 10th generation Core chip, and the graphics card is the RTX 3080 with 8GB of memory.
Acer’s new Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop is furnished with Intel’s newer i7-10870H chip, which meets the 8-core 16-thread specifications of the formerly i9. The graphics card is RTX 3080, furnished with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The screen is 15.6-inch, 1080p 240Hz.
The mobile version of RTX 3080 has appeared on Cinebench, with 48 cores, 6144 CUDA, GPU frequency of 1.54GHz, and 16GB of video memory. Additionally, a variant of Nvidia RTX 3080 appeared on the CPU-Z software.
The GPU frequency has been greatly reduced, and the video memory has also been reduced from 16GB to 8GB. It is expected to be the Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q version.
Acer’s new predator Helios 300 does not label this graphics card as RTX 3080 Max-Q, which may mean that it is just a graphics card with 8GB of video memory, and the frequency has not been reduced.
