ASUS released a flagship router ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 that supports WiFi 6E in September 2020. This product has a theoretical bandwidth of up to 10 Gigabits of 11Gbps and fully supports WiFi 6E.
According to foreign media Slashgear, this router will be on sale in January at a price of up to 549.99 US dollars, or about 3561.2 yuan.
This flagship router supports three frequency bands of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, and 6GHz can provide 7 non-repetitive 160MHz channels. Additionally, WiFi 6E can provide lower latency and connection performance.
Since the 6GHz frequency band is reserved exclusively for supported devices, it does not require 5GHz dynamic frequency selection technology, which can avoid radar equipment interference. This means that the device connection speed will be faster.
This product is equipped with a 64-bit quad-core CPU, clocked at 1.8GHz, equipped with 1GB RAM, and can provide powerful performance. The equipment contains independent signal amplification chips, and each group of amplification circuits has an EMI shielding layer to avoid interference and enhance heat dissipation.
Additionally, the circuit layout is also specially designed to avoid signal loss. The power supply part of the router has not shrunk, and each group of power chips is equipped with solid capacitors.
In order to give full play to the high-speed performance of WiFi 6E, this router is furnished with a 2.5G network port, supports LAN aggregation, and can use two 1Gbps LAN network ports to connect on supported devices.
Additionally, the router is also furnished with RGB lights that can display CPU load status or network speed, and supports custom flashing effects.
