The Ryzen 7 5700G Desktop Hybrid Processor is due to debut with its siblings soon, but today it is back on the web. The software determined that the base frequency of the APU is 3.8 GHz, and the maximum is 4.6 GHz, which is 200 MHz higher than the Ryzen 7 4700G.
At the same time, we recall that the novelty will be based on the new Zen 3 architecture, that is, the performance gain will be very large. True, early data spoke of a maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz, so there is no final clarity in this aspect.
In Geekbench 5, the novelty is gaining 1304 and 8717 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively, but it is impossible to compare it with the Ryzen 7 4700G, since there are few tests of this APU in the database, and the results are very different.
It remains to be recalled that the Ryzen 7 5700G will receive eight cores with STM support and, as expected, the top-end for the Vega 8 GPU line. As a result, you should get a very productive CPU and a good basic graphics subsystem. For example, Intel does not offer such a thing and judging by numerous leaks, such processors will not be in the Rocket Lake line.
