According to the report, ASUS’s WRX80 motherboard was leaked, the model being WRX80 PRO WS SAGE SE. This motherboard supports the AMD thread tearer Pro processor and is very wide.
This motherboard of ASUS is specially designed for commercial workstations. It has 8 memory slots and supports 8-channel memory, while the former thread tearer 3000 series CPU only supports 4-channel memory.
The motherboard provides 7 PCIe 4.0 x16 slots. Because AMD’s new thread tearer Pro will have up to 128 PCIe channels, it can run at full speed. The motherboard’s chipset also uses fans for heat dissipation, and the word ‘Pro SERIES’ is written on the filter. The width of the motherboard is very large, supposed to be EEB specifications.
The left and right sides are covered with aluminum heat sinks, and the I/O interface part also has a translucent plastic protective cover. As can be seen in the figure, the motherboard also has a WiFi antenna, a debug light, and three 8-pin interfaces for CPU power supply.
