HP released the Elite Dragonfly laptop last year weighing only 998g that is officially called ‘lighter than air’. Today, HP announced the release of two new models for Elite Dragonfly-Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2, thus turning it into a mature product line.
HP Elite Dragonfly G2:
Dragonfly G2 is furnished with the 11th generation Intel Core processor, up to 32GB of memory, supports 4G and 5G network connections, is furnished with a 13.3-inch HD low-power IPS touch screen, the maximum brightness is 1000 nits, the keyboard has a backlight and anti-overflow function, WLAN module Built-in tile tracker.
At the software level, Dragonfly G2 has lap detection and context awareness functions. Lap detection means that when the system detects that the user puts the computer on the lap, it will automatically decrease the computer temperature.
Context-awareness can shorten the boot time by more than 10 seconds and increase battery life. Dragonfly G2 has also optimized the audio function, which can intelligently adjust the audio configuration according to different scenarios, perform audio noise reduction, and can remember the user’s usual volume.
HP Elite Dragonfly Max:
Dragonfly Max is also furnished with the 11th generation Intel Core processor supports 4G and 5G network connections, is furnished with a 13.3-inch HD IPS touch screen, including a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, a built-in privacy protection layer, a keyboard with backlight and anti-overflow function, and a built-in WLAN module Tile tracker.
Compared with Dragonfly G2, the front camera of Dragonfly Max has been extended from 1.2 million pixels to 5 million pixels and supports Windows Hello.
At the software level, Dragonfly Max also supports lap detection, context awareness, and audio optimization functions, and is equipped with HP Eye Ease function to support the anti-blue light display.
The Dragonfly G2 weighs 2.2 pounds (approximately 998 grams) and only has a blue version. Dragonfly Max weighs 2.49 pounds (approximately 1.12 kg) and comes in two colors: blue and black. HP officially stated that the two computers will be listed this month, and the specific charges will be announced before the sale begins.
