Lenovo launches ThinkPad devices that support 5G compatibility and face recognition

At CES 2021, Lenovo launched a new detachable ThinkPad device X12 Detachable. Lenovo said that this is the first detachable device released in several years, and the product was launched due to customer demand for detachable devices.

ThinkPad X12 Detachable is equipped with Intel’s 11th-generation UP4 chipset, equipped with a 12.4-inch FHD display and a detachable split keyboard, and uses the same magnetic pen as the X1 Titanium Yoga.

In addition, Lenovo also released the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, which is positioned as Lenovo’s flagship 2-in-1 laptop this year and is known as Lenovo’s thinnest 2-in-1 laptop ever. The ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is 11.5mm thick, weighs 1.15kg, and is equipped with a 13.5-inch QHD display.

It will be equipped with Intel’s 11th-generation Core chip, Iris Xe integrated graphics, two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, four microphones, and a magnetic pen. Lenovo said its main attraction is the screen with 360-degree flexibility.

It is reported that all Lenovo ThinkPad models this year will have 5G options. Lenovo also said that this year’s ThinkPad models all have face recognition capabilities, and the blue light level has been improved compared with previous models.
