Microsoft is supposed to release Surface Pro 8 this month, and today the detailed pricing of this upgraded version of the Windows tablet was leaked. Surface Pro 8 is very similar in design to Surface Pro 7, and the prototype of the device was leaked last year.
However, this tablet uses Intel’s Tiger Lake CPU (including a version with a Core i7-1185G7 processor and Iris Xe graphics card). The device has also passed the FCC, uses Quectel’s LTE-A Cat 12 M.2 module, and provides Wi-Fi 6 support through Intel’s Wi-Fi 6 AX201 adapter.
The whistleblower Roland Quandt announced the pricing of the US version of Surface Pro 8 on Twitter today, ranging from US$900 (about 5827 yuan) to US$2400 (about 15540 yuan), as follows:
It is worth noting that the list seems to confirm that there will be no models with 4GB of memory. The new Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4 are expected to be launched in January 2021.
