The Wi-Fi Alliance announced the opening of Wi-Fi 6E device certification last week for devices that support 6GHz frequency band networks. As it is catching up including CES 2021, this certification will produce conditions for the launch of many new routers and mobile devices this year.
Compared with ordinary Wi-Fi 6, the Wi-Fi 6E network has added 6GHz frequency support that can provide more 160MHz bandwidth channels, thereby reducing interference and improving device network speed.
Additionally, Wi-Fi 6E can also enable devices to connect faster and more securely and supports WPA3 encryption protocol. The US Federal Communications Commission FCC announced that the 6GHz frequency band will be distributed to Wi-Fi.
Since then, device producers and regulatory agencies around the world have started to act and have successively released Wi-Fi support. -Fi 6E wireless router and mobile phone.
Xiaomi launched the AX6000 router last year, priced at 599 yuan. The device supports 4×4 160MHz high-frequency bandwidth, supports 4K QAM technology, and can transmit more data than 1024 QAM.
ASUS also released the ROG GT-AXE11000 flagship WiFi 6E router. The device is furnished with 8 antennas, a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU, and 1GB RAM. Each antenna has an independent signal amplifier circuit. This router is priced at up to 549.99 US dollars, or about 3561.2 yuan, and will be on sale this month.
