Lenovo CES 2021 ThinkPad X1 launches: Latest design of flagship notebook, new display

At CES 2021, Lenovo updated its ThinkPad X1 series flagship notebook lineup. One of the more noticeable is X1 Titanium Yoga, with a thickness of only 11.5mm that is the thinnest ‘little black’ in history. The weight is of course very light, only 1.15kg.

In the basic configuration, X1 Titanium Yoga uses a 13.5-inch (3:2) screen with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 (201PPI), covering 100% sRGB color gamut, and a maximum brightness of 450 nits. Built-in 11 core vPro vPro processors with a maximum storage combination of 16+1TB.

Similar to other X1 Yoga models, the notebook supports 360-degree flips. It is only available in a titanium and silver case, and there is no stylus slot. It is magnetically attached to the frame.

The interface includes two Thunderbolt 4, headset holes, etc., because of the thickness, full-size USB-A, HDMI, etc. are not available. In terms of price, it starts at $1,899 and will start selling in January. Additionally, to X1 Titanium Yoga, the ninth-generation X1 Carbon and the sixth-generation X1 Yoga have also been updated simultaneously.

The major change in appearance is the introduction of a 14-inch 16:10 screen (previously 16:9). The starting price of the former is $1,429. The latter is $1,569 and will be on sale in late February.
