Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has just gotten MIUI 12.5 update based on Android 11 in China. MIUI 12.5.5 firmware for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is currently only available to Chinese users and has closed beta status.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G was unveiled at the end of November 2020 alongside Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 4G. In December, the company boasted that smartphones turned out to be real super hits – 1 million devices were sold in 13 days.
You can manually check the software update on your device whether it’s available on your device or not.

In Europe, the smartphone is known as Xiaomi Mi 10T-Lite 5G, and in India, Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G. Unfortunately, it is not worth installing Chinese firmware on international versions, since it is very different from global firmware, for example, the lack of Google services and applications.
