Chinese electric vehicle launches new modal Ideal one: Large extended range SUV

Compared with Weilai and Xiaopeng, the ideal car’s expansive range route has been controversial. But from the perspective of sales, the ideal car performed equally well. It completed the delivery of the first 30,000 vehicles in just 12 months and 14 days, setting a record for the fastest delivery of the first model of a new car force.

In order to further promote sales growth and improve brand competitiveness, Ideal is constantly deploying new models.

Today, Tianqi issued an announcement confirming that it had won the bid for the ‘X01 assembly mainline’ project of Chongqing Ideal Automobile Co., Ltd. Changzhou Branch. The winning bid was 160 million yuan and the delivery date was March 30, 2022.

Well-known, Ideal Motors indicated in its prospectus submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission that it plans to launch a large SUV in 2022 and continue to use extensive-range powertrains.

It is worth mentioning that Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Motors, also said that after 2022, a new car will be launched every year, including a full-size extended-range SUV.

It seems that the timeline is just in line, but it is still not 100% sure whether the “X01” is this large SUV.

Currently, only the Ideal ONE model of Ideal Motors is on sale. The car is positioned as a medium and large-scale expansive-range electric SUV. It is available in 6-seater and 7-seater versions. The whole series has only one configuration and the price is 328,000 yuan. The car will be delivered to users in December 2019.

According to data, in 2020, Ideal ONE’s annual cumulative terminal sales were 33,457; December’s terminal sales were 6,621, ranking first in China’s new energy SUV sales for four consecutive months.

As of December 31, 2020, Ideal Auto has 52 retail centers across the country, covering 41 cities; 114 after-sales repair centers, and authorized sheet spray centers, covering 83 cities, providing a full range of services for users. Guaranteed.
