Sony officially announced the flagship G Master series FE 35mm F1.4 GM full-frame fixed-focus lens. It will be launched in early February 2021 with a suggested retail price of RMB 11,300.
Sony said that the FE 35mm F1.4 GM has a high resolution, soft background blur, fast, smooth, and precise autofocus performance. These outstanding performances are condensed in a compact and lightweight lens that weighs only about 524g.
The two XA (super aspheric) lenses of the FE 35mm F1.4 GM lens allow the lens to maintain superior resolution throughout the entire imaging range. One ED (low dispersion) lens and other optical optimizations can be effectively suppressed chromatic aberration and purple fringing.
The size of this lens is only about 76mm (diameter) x 96mm, and the filter diameter is 67mm. It can provide excellent mobility, achieving small size, and lightweight. The FE 35mm F1.4 GM has two built-in XD linear motors that provide the high driving force required for well-defined autofocus and tracking focus, and can present excellent resolution throughout the entire focus range.
